Hoosier Whaties?? We're your Daddies!!!

Hello Team!

Last night we gathered on the rolling plains of the Washington Monument grounds to take on Hoosier Dadddies. With the soothing tunes of the Marine Corp band playing behind us, we carefully placed some lined shots and stayed aggressive on the bath paths, leading us to a near perfect 13-1 win. We were very strong defensively behind our all star pitcher Matt Pollack. He made several plays from the mound and even led us through a 3 pitch inning. The short and crooked bath paths made for some close plays, but we stayed strong and made great throws to halt their rambling offense.

A perfect storm of Congressional recess and personal vacations has led me to postpone next week’s game. I have attempted to reschedule it for the first week of September, so stay tuned for that update. Fear not, for after a week off we jump right back into it with 3 consecutive games. I know it’s a lot, so just come on out to the ones you can make. We will be playing tues-thurs against teams with a combined record of 6-15.

Have a great weekend and enjoy your extended softball midseason break!!
